Team leader production (Three-Shift System)

Who are we?

De Kroes Tasty Bakeries is a leading international player in the production and sale of delicious products such as (cheese) crackers, toasts, breakfast crackers, pastry, and many other sweet and savory treats. We have four factories located in the Netherlands, France, and Germany, employing around 200 colleagues. Our products are mainly sold in supermarkets across Western Europe, but you can also find them beyond.

At our bakery in Oosterhout, we produce the tastiest cheese biscuits, savory snacks, toasts, breakfast crackers, profitroles, and other delicious products from scratch every single day. With passion, ambition, and a strong sense of team spirit, we ensure that our products can be found in supermarkets across Western Europe, America, and beyond!

And you? You will be leading our team in a dynamic 3-shift operation!

Who are you?

You combine reliability with the ability to drive renewal within our plant and lead your team in an inspiring and decisive way. You are responsible for the production process, the performance and development of your team, and the continuous improvement of our results. With your helicopter view you create structure. You know where you want to go and bring your colleagues along.

You are sharp on safety, efficiency and delivery reliability. You manage by data, yet you also trust your intuition and your team. You see opportunities where others see obstacles and you are not afraid to challenge existing ways of working. You continue to build our culture of openness, trust and collaboration.

What will you do?

You are responsible for one of our production shifts (Monday 06:00 AM to Friday 10:00 PM) and ensure that:

• The production planning runs smoothly and targets are achieved
• Your team works in a motivated, safe, and efficient manner – with a keen eye for quality and hygiene
• Staff scheduling is optimally aligned with operational needs
• You proactively identify and implement improvements to make our production lines even more efficient
• Together with your team (consisting of about 20 top colleagues), you find solutions when things get tough – and make decisions that matter

In short: you are the spider in the web who keeps everything running smoothly!

What are we looking for?

• You have experience as a team leader in a production environment (experience in the food industry is a plus!)
• You are results-oriented, take ownership, and know how to delegate tasks effectively
• A basic understanding of Lean methodologies is familiar territory for you. You always spot opportunities to optimize processes
• You have strong communication skills, are flexible, and are a true team player with a good sense of humor
• You hold at least an MBO-4 diploma (secondary vocational education) and possess a continuous problem-solving mindset
• Experience with 3-shift rotations? Then you’ve come to the right place!
