Area Sales Manager (Export)

For our location in Oosterhout, we are – as a result of our strong international growth – looking for a driven Area Sales Manager (Export) to strengthen our sales team. In this independent and versatile role, you will be responsible for revenue development and marketing activities within your export markets.
You will have plenty of room to take initiative within an ambitious team, working with clear objectives and a high degree of responsibility. Identifying new opportunities and actively expanding our customer base comes naturally to you, as does carefully developing and maintaining existing relationships.
With your energy, commercial drive and analytical mindset, you will actively contribute to our growth strategy. You will report directly to the Management Team and play a key role in our continued international expansion.

De Kroes Tasty Bakeries is a leading international player in the production and sale of delicious products such as cheese snacks, toast, breakfast crackers, pâté products and many other tasty treats.
With four production sites in the Netherlands, France and Germany and approximately 200 colleagues, we work on growth every day. Our products are mainly sold under private label in supermarkets across Western Europe and beyond. Thanks to our strong growth, we are constantly moving forward.

What will you do?
- Maintain and further develop existing (international) accounts and actively acquire new customers;
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within your export markets;
- Support product development processes in collaboration with internal teams – from concept to successful market launch;
- Prepare and analyse sales reports, forecasts and budgets;
- Actively contribute to the commercial strategy and further international growth of De Kroes.
What are we looking for?
- A completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO level or equivalent);
- Several years of experience in the retail market, preferably with an international/export focus;
- Affinity with the food industry;
- A results-driven and persuasive sales professional with strong market knowledge;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Fluency in both Dutch and English; an additional foreign language is a plus.
