Packaging Operator (Three-Shift System)

For our location in Oosterhout, we are looking for a Packaging Operator. In this role, you play an important part in the daily packaging of our products. You will work together with a team of colleagues, using modern automated processes. As an operator, you take on the challenge of packaging products according to schedule and within the set standards. You operate, monitor, and adjust machines where necessary to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible.

De Kroes Tasty Bakeries is a leading international player in the production and sale of delicious products such as (cheese) crackers, toasts, breakfast crackers, pastry, and many other sweet and savory treats. We have four factories located in the Netherlands, France, and Germany, employing around 200 colleagues. Our products are mainly sold in supermarkets across Western Europe, but you can also find them beyond.

Who are you?

You are someone looking for a challenging job with many automated processes, a variety of packaging processes, and – not unimportant- tasty products! You have experience in operating production and packaging lines and feel comfortable in a food production environment. You want to contribute to ensuring our packaging processes run smoothly in a qualitative, pleasant, and safe way.

What will you do?

Set up, monitor, and adjust various packaging machines, including case packers, flow packers, cartoners, and vertical form-fill-seal machines.
Changeover of machines when switching products on one of the four production lines.
Replenish packaging materials and keep the working environment clean.
Solve (minor) malfunctions.
Carry out various quality checks and registrations.

What are we looking for?

VMBO/MBO working and thinking level.
Affinity with technology and food products is a plus.
Preferably three years of experience operating packaging machines and peripheral equipment.
Someone who can work both independently and in a team.
An operator who is safety- and quality-conscious, with a strong interest in getting the best out of the machines.
A good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
