Financial Assistant (24-36 hours)

As a Financial Assistant, you will be part of our Finance team and support the Financial Manager in a wide range of financial activities. Your responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, VAT returns, month-end closings, and various financial reports. With your eye for detail and proactive attitude, you help ensure a reliable financial administration and smooth-running processes.

We work with modern, automated systems that allow us to collect increasing amounts of data and further optimize our business processes. You will help us make the most of this digitalization.

De Kroes Tasty Bakeries is a leading international player in the production and sale of delicious products such as (cheese) crackers, toasts, breakfast crackers, pastry, and many other sweet and savory treats. We have four factories located in the Netherlands, France, and Germany, employing around 200 colleagues. Our products are mainly sold in supermarkets across Western Europe, but you can also find them beyond.

Your responsibilities?

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable;
  • Processing bank statements;
  • Preparing payroll data for processing;
  • Supporting VAT returns;
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closings;
  • Preparing cost overviews and financial reports.

What are we looking for?

  • Completed MBO level 4 education in a financial or administrative field;
  • Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience;
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
